The Little Seed
Once upon a time, in a quiet corner of the forest, there was a tiny seed lying on the soft soil. It wasn’t much to look at—just a small, brown speck nestled among fallen leaves. The wind often whispered through the trees, and raindrops occasionally kissed the ground, but the little seed felt forgotten. It wondered if it would ever grow into something beautiful.
One day, as sunlight filtered through the canopy above, the seed felt a gentle warmth for the first time. A curious squirrel stopped by and poked its nose near the seed. “What are you?” asked the squirrel, tilting its head.
“I’m a seed,” replied the seed softly. “I think I might become a tree someday.”
The squirrel chuckled. “That sounds like a big dream for such a small thing!”
But the seed didn’t give up. Days turned into weeks, and despite the challenges—cold nights, strong winds, and hungry birds—it pushed its way upward. With every drop of rain and ray of sunshine, it grew stronger. Roots stretched deep into the earth, anchoring it firmly, while green shoots reached toward the sky.
Months later, the once-tiny seed had transformed into a young sapling. Birds nested in its branches, rabbits hid beneath its shade, and children marveled at its beauty. The forest buzzed with life around it, all because one little seed dared to believe in itself.
And so, the little seed taught everyone an important lesson: even the smallest beginnings can lead to great things.
