My Happy Weekend
Last weekend was one of the happiest times for me. It was filled with fun, laughter, and relaxation. The weather was perfect—sunny and warm, which made it ideal to spend time outdoors.
On Saturday morning, I went to the park with my family. We brought some snacks and drinks, and we had a picnic under a big tree. After eating, we played games like frisbee and hide-and-seek. My little brother was especially excited; he ran around like a little squirrel, laughing all the time. It was so refreshing to be in nature and enjoy the fresh air.
In the afternoon, we visited the science museum. There were so many interesting exhibits! I learned about how electricity works and even got to touch a static electricity ball. It gave me a small shock, but it was fun! My mom took pictures of me standing next to a dinosaur skeleton, which made me feel like I was part of a movie.
Sunday was a bit quieter. In the morning, I helped my mom bake cookies. She showed me how to mix ingredients and roll out the dough. The kitchen smelled amazing while they were baking, and I couldn’t wait to try them. Later, we watched a movie together, and it felt cozy sitting on the couch with a plate of cookies in hand.
The weekend ended too quickly, but I’ll always remember how happy I felt. Spending quality time with family is something I will cherish forever. These moments remind me that happiness doesn’t have to come from expensive things—it comes from simple joys and spending time with loved ones.
