My New School Life
Hello! My name is Li Hua, and I am a new student in Grade Seven at No. 1 Middle School. It has been two months since I started my middle school life, and it feels like I’ve entered a completely different world.
In primary school, my days were simple: I had fewer subjects to study, and the classes were short. But now, as a middle school student, everything seems more challenging yet exciting. We have more subjects such as Chinese, math, English, history, geography, and even science. Each subject opens up a new door for me to explore the world. For example, I love English because it helps me talk with people from other countries. Learning new words and phrases makes me feel like I’m uncovering hidden treasures.
Besides academics, there are also many activities that make my school life colorful. There’s an English club where we practice speaking English through role-playing games. It’s so much fun! And just last week, our class participated in a basketball game against Class Three. Although we didn’t win, everyone worked hard together, and that made me proud. Sports help keep us healthy and teach us teamwork, which is important in life.
Of course, adjusting to middle school isn’t always easy. The homework can be overwhelming sometimes, especially when exams approach. But I remind myself that challenges help me grow stronger. To manage my time better, I make a schedule every day to balance studying, exercising, and relaxing. This way, I don’t feel too stressed out.
My teachers are also very supportive. They encourage us to ask questions and think critically. Mrs. Zhang, my English teacher, often tells us that learning is a lifelong journey. Her words inspire me to keep improving myself.
In conclusion, middle school is a wonderful chapter of my life. Though it may bring challenges, it also brings opportunities to learn and grow. I’m grateful for this experience and excited about what lies ahead. I believe that with effort and determination, I will achieve great things in the future!
