The Little Star
Once upon a time, there was a tiny star named Stella. She lived high up in the sky with her family—hundreds of other stars who twinkled together every night. But unlike her bright siblings, Stella wasn’t very noticeable. Her light was faint, and she often felt overshadowed by the dazzling brilliance of the bigger stars.
One evening, as Stella shone weakly from her spot in the Milky Way, she heard a soft voice calling out to her. It was a little boy on Earth looking through his telescope. “Oh, look!” he exclaimed. “There’s a small star that’s shining just for me!”
Stella’s heart swelled with joy. No one had ever noticed her before. She decided then that even though she might not be the brightest star in the sky, she could still bring happiness to someone else. From that day forward, Stella made it her mission to shine brightly whenever children gazed at the stars.
Every night, Stella would find herself glowing a little brighter than usual, especially when she saw curious eyes peering into the night sky. And soon enough, more people began to notice her gentle glow. They whispered about how special she was because she seemed to care so much about bringing light to those who looked up.
Even today, if you take the time to stargaze, you’ll see Stella—the little star that shines just for you. Though she may not be the biggest or brightest, she has taught everyone an important lesson: no matter how small you feel, your light can make a big difference to someone else’s life.
